Jing: 100 Best Products of 2008
Posted on Friday September 5, 2008 by Mike Curtis
Good day everyone. We got this nice trophy in the mail the other day. A few months ago PC World named the Jing Project as no. 100 in their list of the best products of 2008. (We just squeaked in!) I guess that means there is lots of opportunity to move up.
There were a lot of cool products on their list, and of course, a lot of opinions about what else should have been on the list. What are some technology products you couldn't get along without? I've recently fallen in love with SynergyKM. It's freeware that lets me use my same mouse and keyboard to go between my Mac and PC--and better yet, I can copy and paste text (ahem--like Jing URLs) from one to the other.

If you like Synergy, you should also give MaxiVista a shot. It is not only sharing the mouse with two computers but also sharing the monitor!
Pretty cool stuff: http://www.maxivista.com

You made it to 15 in the list "25 top tools every Learning Professional should have in their Toolbox" (http://www.c4lpt.co.uk/25Tools/) which is where I heard of you for the first time and will be using you from now on.

Congrats guys!
By the way, Jing seems to be playing nicely with my VDM now (also .Net based, I reported a crashing problem earlier).
Not sure if it was something you changed or the VDM author, but in any case, I'm happy its resolved!
Looking forward to using Jing!
