Jing Friday: Season 2 of Captain Jing?

| | Comments (6)

Are you enjoying the new fall TV line up? Are you among those like Ray wondering what happened to the Captain Jing series? Ray works on Camtasia Relay and is a HUGE fan. When he got to meet Captain Jing, it pretty much made his year.

Here was the original episode. If you visit the YouTube channel you can see how far our acting skills and production quality have come. (Maybe.)

Anyway, the good news is that none of these shenanigans harm the development of Jing. This is what happens when a bunch of 20 and 30-something tech nerds try to do something a little different.

We better get moving on season two. More action! Deeper plot lines! Less spandex! Tell us if you have any episode ideas, and select your favorite hero below!

Though Captain Jing is the clear choice, I must still state my discomfort with Green Lantern being selected as a B-list superhero. Just because he doesn't have his own movie...

Dude, even if the Green Lantern movie weren't in production, I'd say that the only true B-lister on this list is the Tick (due solely to my own personal bias), and in the grand scheme of things, he's tops in his universe.

I'm writing in a vote for Squirrel Girl. Squirrel Girl ... defeated not only Doctor Doom, but also THANOS ... with nothing more than her special squirrel talents.

Apparently I'm also stoking some internal controversy inside the TechSmith walls. Comic-crazed colleagues are giving me a going over about Green Lantern.

Apologies to all Green Lantern fans! I should have left off the B-list reference =D. I promise to read up on him, and hopefully when the new movie comes out it's a good one.

I don't see Cam Taser in the list of options...

Love the Captian Jing. But you might consider using the Lapel Microphones you sell to bump up the audio quality. Keep it up!
