Screencasting in 7 Minutes

Betsy Weber over on the TechSmith Visual Lounge shared some good information from Ian Ozsvald about screencasting tips as well as some sample screencasts.

My favorite tip is, "Just Do It - don't worry about it, just make a recording and repeat it if it wasn't good enough. Soon you'll have something online that does the job." Jing is a good way to practice and start screencasting. It's free, doesn't have a lot of complex features, and makes it easy to get a screencast on the web for others to see.
