Jing Libs
Take a little break--you deserve it! Copy the text below into the comments, then replace the variables with some words of your own. Be serious or creative, positive or negative!
Jing is so [adjective] and [adjective]. I use it at [place] to capture [noun plural] and then [verb] them to [noun]. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be [noun or verb]! If Jing were an animal, it would be a [animal].
Here's mine:
Jing is so yellow and bouncy. I use it at home to capture photos of my kids and then post them to Facebook. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be a way so I didn't always have to click "Image"! If Jing were an animal, it would be a young cheetah with a head-mounted laser.

I am still green, a beginner and hope to be able to use the yellow Jing for many purposes such as for uploading to FB.
Jing is so easy and useful. I use it at work to capture my screen and then save them to web. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be standard video formats! If Jing were an animal, it would be a fox. Clever in encouraging me to by pro version... ;-)
Jing is so easy and elegant. I use it at work to capture Mac screenshots and then open them in SnagIt to annotate and then port them into training videos. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be more image editing tools! If Jing were an animal, it would be a Jackelope http://www.jackalope.com/legend_of_jackalope.html
Jing is both handy and dandy. I use it at TechSmith to capture my feedback and fire it off to a co-worker. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be a better way to find past Jings! If Jing were an animal, it would be Chewbacca. (RAWR)
Jing is so swarthy and mutinous. I use it on my pirate ship to capture wayward buccaneers and then shiver them to their timbers. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be sea legs! If Jing were an animal, it would be a parrot with an eye patch...arrrgh!
Jing is so bright and sharp. I use it the jungle to capture bigfoots and then prove them to the world. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be the ability to save files as JPGs! If Jing were an animal, it would be a manbearpig.
Jing is so cool and crazy. I use it at work to capture how-to videos and images, and then email them to co-workers who need quick training and support assistance. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be allow more control and organization of the history section, like filtering and sorting by folder, hiding items in the history view without deleting the original file, and adding my own folders in history to organize the captures more effectively! If Jing were an animal, it would be Animal http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_(Muppet) (even though he is technically not an animal) because Jing sits in the background providing support, but is ready to jump into action when needed for a spotlight solo (much like the crazy drummer from the Muppet Band The Electric Mayhem).
Two questions....
1) Can I record my drawings in Photoshop and upload them to YouTube with the Free Jing?
2) What's the difference between Jing and Camtasia?
Hi Nick,
I can answer your questions. Free Jing won't work with YouTube because it creates videos in SWF format, which YouTube doesn't like. However Jing Pro can create videos in SWF or MPEG-4 format.
One way to think about the difference between Jing and Camtasia Studio is in terms of features. Jing is fast and built for sharing ideas but has no editing capability. Camtasia Studio has a ton of editing capability--like zooming, and callouts, captions, table of contents, as well as a lot of production options and settings.
Jing is so silky and cold. I use it at the castle to capture elbows and then wash them to milk carton. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be no automatic renewal! If Jing were an animal, it would be a bluebird.
Jing is so fluffy and light. I use it at the zoo to capture butterflies and then transport them to gardens. If I could change or add one thing to Jing it would be to look more like a marshmallow! If Jing were an animal, it would be a hummingbird.
