The link doesn't work and Jing doesn't want to store captured images locally until I update... So I can't use jing anymore.

I get prompted to twice each time to download this same update every time I turn on my computer, even though I have downloaded and installed this same update at least 3 times. Any ideas?

We have had a couple moments where Screencast.com was down, and maybe that caused the problems some people have experienced. I contacted Will, since he included his e-mail address, and he said it was working for him now. Run top on the terminal and kill the jing process.
