Look at the updates for Jing
Posted on Friday October 12, 2007 by Chris McQueen
So, the developers posted short descriptions of the latest changes to Jing, but I thought I'd post a quick video. Isn't it easier to understand something when you can see it?

Since updating Jing, whenever I wake up my computer from hibernate or restart it asks me to set up a new account with screencast. Failure to log in throws me out of JING. This is a major problem when I am working & not connected to the internet.
Have tried re-installing twice & it still does it.
Any ideas, please?

I have the same issue. I don't want to set up anything new because I have been using Jing for a while. I log in just to clear it, but it comes back everytime I restart the computer. This need to log in didn't happen before the update, and it's annoying.

To both Roger and Alan,
Please see my post regarding a bug we introduced with this in our last release and how to easily "fix" it in the interim.

Checking the link you posted resulted in a clear screen (http://screencast.com/t/TazVhauoiY).
Is it my system or your system fault?

@ Alex:
I've gotten a few reports that people can't view the video. We're still trying to figure out what is going on, because there hasn't been any consistency to the problem.
If you can, try refreshing the page a couple times, because we think it might have something to do with the preloader I used to create the video.
In fact, let me know if this link works better for you: http://www.screencast.com/t/aSg0MPxN45
Thanks!

I had no problems in watching the video that was linked in the blog post.
