Jing for Mac - Version 1.3 Update

This release brings a few bug fixes we wanted to get out as soon as possible, while we work on features for our next release:
- a fix for video recording on older Macs that previously had black recordings
- better compatibility with OS X 10.5
- fixed a few memory leaks
- fixed a bug where tooltips could show through overlapping windows
- fixed a bug where the display of capture dimensions would stop showing after the user changes the display resolution

I noticed this (?) version prompted to upgrade right away when Jing launched - did the mechanism change from the snap and share check to check at launch?

David: We changed the check-for-update mechanism in version 1.2.6, to check on launch, when sharing, and also once every day. We check when you share, to be sure the upload is compatible with the server, as that communication format can change. But we would prefer not to interrupt users in the middle of a share, to force an update, so we added the other checks. We also responded to feedback by adding a manual button.

I can't get audio when use it on Mac. Is there anything wrong with my setting there?

I have an issue with Jing on my Mac where it sometimes just closes down in the middle of my recording so that I lose everything and have to restart Jing from the application folder. Any fixes for this?

Same issue with quiting halfway thru the recording. I have nothing else running except a browser. Using OS X 10.4.10 on a Intel Duo Core.
I'm also losing the upload bar when uploading the video. It appears for 3-4 seconds and then I can't get it to come back.

I am prompted to download "critical update" even though a I have the latest version for mac. This is preventing me from sharing. Appreciate any help!

How can I draw arrows, etc with the Jing video capture? I saw that demo'ed at BlogWorld and can't figure out how to do it.
This is for OS X Jing.
