Jing for Windows - Version 1.2.6

Posted on Wednesday August 29, 2007 by Michael Malinak

Version 1.2.6 is now available! You can download it here.

  • Jing is now usable with high DPI displays or with Windows "Large Fonts" enabled.
  • You can now see progress bars when uploading and downloading if you hover over the launcher. You also have the option to cancel transfers.
  • Updating (for the next release) should be even smoother. Jing now checks for updates on startup. If you have to update in the middle of a share, the media will be reopened after the update.
  • We added the ability to check for updates in the More window.
  • We implmented a workaround so that links shared via MSN Messenger should no longer be blocked. (this issue was mentioned here)

Jing wont open. It wont let me run it until I update, and the setup wont launch.

Is there a way to move the SUN on Windows. Seems I can only place it at the very top. I actually have a desktop with an ocean photo with a sunset and it would be so cool to be able to move the Jing sun just a little bit.

    Thanks.

Under the More (Preference) Ball, there is an option to move the Sun. Here is a Jing to show you how:
